About SearchTube
The search engine for internet television — one search across every network in the WWBN registry.
What it does
SearchTube lets you find a video or a channel without knowing which platform it lives on. A single query runs across every video network registered in WWBN — YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, SearchPPV and more — and returns a unified, ranked list of results.
Each result links straight to the video: play it inline, open it in the full‑window player, or jump to the source network.
The WWBN Registry
WWBN is the index of video networks and their feeds that SearchTube draws from. When a network is added to the registry, its catalog becomes searchable here — and channel owners can register their channels so their programming surfaces in results.
How a search works
- One query, every network. Your search fans out to each enabled feed concurrently.
- Unified results. Every network's response is normalized into the same result card.
- Ranked, not just grouped. Results are scored and ordered so the most relevant rise to the top.
- Filter by network. Narrow results to a single network from the sidebar.
Watching
On phones and tablets, videos play inline in the feed — tap a result and it plays right there. On desktop, the full‑window player opens with an info panel (the button) for channel, network and related‑search options.
